12/11/09 at 1035 hrs, we had an attempted abduction of a 16 yr old female in the area of Rebman's Rec. The female was attempting to cross the street when a W/M in a pick-up stopped and tried to get her to go with him. He even got out of the truck and walked toward her, and she fled. The driver is described as W/M/40' ??, 6-0 and 200 lbs, brn stocking cap and brown matching jacket and full beard. Driving a red pickup not new but no rust, with a matching cap over bed. The cap had side windows and the truck might have had an extended cab??.. Anyone with similar incident please contact Det. Moskal at LPD 204-2139. |

Three reports of stolen christmas yard decorations were filed on the morning of 12/13/09 on Lorain's west side. The attached video from 5602 Williamsburg Drive shows three subjects stopping in the street in a dark colored SUV (Possibly a Chevy Trailblazer - note the chrome strip on the side doors). Two suspects appear to be females, one with dark hair in a pony tail(Driver), the other with shoulder length light colord hair(Rear passenger). The third suspect appears to be a male but this can not be confirmed(Front passenger). Stolen in the three cases are a candy cane, 4 lighted stars (2 red, 1 white and 1 blue), baby jesus doll, penguin yard ornament and a self inflating Charlie Brown, Woodstock and Snoopy on a sled.
